Abstract: The labor market occupies the main stage in the specialty literature research. One of the most important phenomenon to understand is the unemployment, having implication in many areas as sociology, demography, economics and others. The purpose of this study is to find a relationship between the unemployment rate and other economic indices: number of emigrants, number of immigrants, import, life expectancy, GDP and available population for Romania for the 1991 – 2016 period.
