Particularities of Planning, Organizing and Managing Port Marketing

Abstract: The study of planning and organizing activities starts from the knowledge of the port-specific characteristics of activities related to maritime and inland waterway transport that take place in or near the port. In this paper, the peculiarities of these activities were studied in order to be known by the marketing specialists, but also by the managers of the port operating companies, the administrations of the maritime and river ports. The result of the research is the systematization of the planning process, the organization of the port marketing activity and the deterioration of the particularities of the port marketing management.
