Effect of the Annual Financial Results on the Stock Price

Abstract: The paper analyzes the variation of the stock price as an effect of the publication of the financial statements by the companies listed on the stock exchange. Starting from the general methodology of an event study analysis, the empirical research is supported by a parameter generalization module and one for the optimization of internal variables. The main conclusion based on a sample of events, being the significant impact of Annual financial statements on share prices.
