Estimating the Impact of NABE Member Characteristics on Compensation

Abstract: This study is based on the 2014 NABE salary survey and estimates the relationship between the total compensation and the professional characteristics of NABE members who responded to the survey. The underlying regression results form the basis for the salary calculator found on the NABE website. This study builds on previous models, and we find many consistencies with previous results as well as some interesting exceptions.
