Abstract: Abstract Valentín Fuster received his degree and doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona. In the 1970s he moved to the United States, where he has worked in some of the nation’s leading hospitals, including the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
