Chapter 3 in Strategic Organizational Change, 2005, pp 41-63 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In Chapter 2, we looked at assessing the external context in which our organization does business. To get a complete answer to the question in the SOC framework, “Where are we now?”, it is also important to understand the current state of our organization. Although the current state represents a snapshot in time – since our organization is constantly evolving – it is important to stop and take this detailed look at “Where are we now?” to identify what is working well and key drivers, problems and root causes.
