Chapter 3 in Trust Matters, 2004, pp 29-42 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Trust is universally welcome, recognised and frequently taken for granted, yet its absence can precipitate total disaster. The effects of lost trust are only rarely understood. In this chapter, we look at the consequences of lost trust for individuals and organisations. We also show that the way that corporations lose trust affects their ability to rebuild it.
