Introduction
Dana Yagil
A chapter in The Service Providers, 2008, pp 1-8 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The guiding discipline in the book is social psychology, reflected in its focus on individuals and their interpersonal interactions. The boundary role of service providers is reflected in sections which discuss their relationship with the organization as well as with customers. In as much as service providers are the focus of this book, the other participants in service — the customers and the organization — are discussed primarily in reference to the service providers.
