Abstract:
Abstract From 9 through 11 May 2011, more than 100 women from 23 countries gathered at an International Young Women’s Conference to discuss the next stage of a campaign to empower young women workers around the world. The conference was held in Amsterdam, in the framework of the Decisions for Life) campaign, and organized jointly by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the UNI Global Union, the Wage Indicator Foundation (WIF) and the University of Amsterdam (see Box 1.1). The authors of this volume are associated with this university.
