Chapter 4 in Beyond the Business Plan, 2013, pp 41-50 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract If business plans are often not an appropriate guide for a new venture, then what is? The answer is that there is not one single approach which is best in all circumstances and there are a number of guides each with their own particular advantages relevant to different circumstances. Thus, instead of having just one tool to use in all circumstances, there is a selection of different tools, each with different uses.
