Study B: Analysis of the Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment in the Thai Subsidiary

Abstract: Abstract This chapter describes Study B of the quantitative analysis. In Study A the benchmarks, regarding the characteristics of the value-components of organizational culture and organizational commitment, and the degree of relationship between them as observed in the parent unit in Japan for this Japanese company, are established. Study B examined the set of hypotheses regarding the value characteristics of the organizational culture and organizational commitment as observed in the subsidiary of this company. The subsidiary is located in a culturally similar host country, Thailand. The set of hypotheses evaluated in this chapter are described in Table 7.1.
