Abstract One of the greatest teachers of our era, the late Dr. Martin Luther King, understood how specific actions and behaviors within a broader context are connected. When he was confronted by racists, King recognized how their behaviors, and a single action, related to the scourge of racism. Many historians believe he was a systems thinker. To this day, his leadership provides a lesson—and a cautionary tale—to both marketers and sales professionals
