Capitalizing on Market Potentials

A. Coskun Samli

Chapter 6 in Coping with Retail Giants, 2015, pp 65-81 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Throughout this book, the location theme has been repeated. Retailing not only follows the population dispersion, but also locates conveniently to certain population groups. It must be stressed forcefully that location is the first life bloods of retailing. No matter how good, how attractive, or how accommodating, if a retailer is not located properly, there is no possibility that it can achieve success.
