Recognize characteristics of the learning organization. Recognize subsystems of the learning organization. Explain the foundations and barriers for building a learning organization. Recognize the role of education in preparing the workforce and recognize the skills deficiencies identified by employers. Explain how and why organizations are creating in-house learning facilities.
