Communication

Rick Webb

Chapter 5 in Agency, 2015, pp 25-29 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract There is no culture without communication. You will need to communicate with your employees regularly, and they will need to communicate with one another. While in an early stage company the tendency is to rely primarily on quick emails and oral communication, this is problematic. First off, it does not scale, and secondly, it does not create an archive of cultural communication for new employees to rapidly get up to speed. Before too long, your company’s communication will need to be something that scales.
