Abstract: Abstract U-form Enterprise. A company in which decision making is centralized around a top board of executives whose functional responsibilities are applied to all company products. This form of organization is common to small and medium-sized firms; large firms adopting the U-form organization tend to suffer control-loss. (See M-form Enterprise.)
