The Evolution of eMarketplaces
Joseph A. DiVanna
Chapter Chapter 27 in Redefining Financial Services, 2002, pp 223-224 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Organizations that develop winning products or achieve optimum operating states often fail when market conditions change and their approach does not adapt to the new market condition. Realizing that all markets mature and undergo successive transformations is an important ingredient in developing an effective approach to an eMarketplace. Various industries, consumer groups and international partners will all mature with slower or faster rates of adoption in technology, process design, integration, taxation and other factors.
