Chapter Chapter 6 in Retail Therapy, 2003, pp 166-196 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is about value – ways of measuring it, ways of generating it, even new places to look for it. Much of what we’re going to talk about lies within the realm of existing financial practice – albeit of the state of the art variety. Once we’ve seen some of the sights along the way, we’ll round things up by integrating the concepts we’ve covered here with the ideas from earlier chapters. We get into rather dry areas on a couple of occasions, but I’ve tried to make sure you don’t have to go too long without a flippant aside. Welcome to the last instalment.
