Chapter 2 in International Banking Strategic Alliances, 2003, pp 12-19 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract When two protagonists plan to cooperate in important areas of their business activities, such an intention could be expressed in a simple contractual agreement covering the measures that are without doubt to be taken in the foreseeable future, based on the realistic understanding that the means and objectives may be adjusted to the prevailing situation at any given time. To stipulate certain expectations beforehand, however, contradicts the strategic maxim of avoiding unnecessary provisos at all costs.
