Abstract:
Abstract We have seen that a cross-border strategic alliance is not to be realized in one great leap, but that it is conceivable only progressively as a self-realizing process. Limitations are set for a process of this kind in that it has to be aimed in a certain direction, meaning in this case a global partnership for conducting banking activities in third countries. In principle, however, it is a development of unlimited duration. In light of this, the cooperation agreement emphasizes the need to achieve individual solutions step by step according to the local circumstances in each case.
