Abstract: This short note reports on my experience from The 25th European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS). The conference was titled "Information Systems for a smart, sustainable and inclusive world", and took place in Guimarães, Portugal in June 2017. I discuss the thematic focus of the conference and its scope. Then I refer about two workshops I attended during the conference.
