Abstract: This aim of the article is to inform readers about the relationship between philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre and Czech culture. There were a lot of periods of the presentation and interpretation of the ideas of Jean-Paul Sartre. Major attention of the described analysis is focused on the Czech interpretation of the existentialism on the Sartre's dramatic pieces well-known in Bohemia.
