Abstract:
Through an analysis of some examples, excerpted from the official versions of EU documents some common and specific characteristics related to creating European terminology are presented. By comparing the equivalents in different languages, we can see the differences in the perception of the extralingual reality as well as in the creation of European terminology in different languages and language groups. A special attention is dedicated to problems related to "Czech eurojargon".
