The Social Context of Economic Reform in 1960s

Abstract: The study deals with a new position of social policy in connection with economic reform and in relation with former impugning of its role in society. The component part of economic reform conception was accordingly the restoration of sovereignty and traditional mission of social policy leading to mitigation of social consequences of market regulation of economic processes for inhabitants, for example in cases of unemployment and in mitigation of grants in relation to prices particularly in cases of families with children. The proposal of social reform in 1966 and 1968 took into account far-reaching reconstruction of social system which should be consistent with direction of economic reform.
