Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to evaluate contentual benefit of the newly-issued book of Jaroslav Wagner "Performance Measurement" The paper concludes the most important benefits of the book are its system-oriented, interdisciplinary view at investigated reality, user orientation and appropriate combination of conceptual considerations and practical examples. Moreover, paper evaluates by a positive way phrasing, language and stylistic level of the book. It stresses not simple phenomena and interrelations are the subject of the book; they are, however, described by readable way which gives opportunity to get into the performance management areas by very attractive way.
