Abstract:
This short note attempts to identify the possible long term consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on the growth prospects of what we labelled as the German block. The essay begins with a historical reconstruction regarding the formation of the German block. Then the main characteristics of the countries belonging to the block will be described. It will be pointed out that the dynamic forces contained in the block push it particularly towards China with Russia having a crucial role in this process.
