Abstract: Questo articolo ripercorre il tentativo di Chick, durato tutta la vita, di smascherare cio' che e' stato ed e' tuttora distorto nell'interpretazione e nell'applicazione della Teoria Generale. Per semplicita', ho elencato alcune delle distorsioni su cui Chick, insieme ad altri, ha richiamato l'attenzione nel corso degli anni. L'elenco non vuole essere esaustivo e alcune distorsioni sono correlate tra loro, ma spero che il mio catalogo catturi la maggior parte delle questioni che sono state al centro del dibattito e del confronto con la Teoria Generale che ha impegnato Chick per tutta la sua vita. This article traces Chick's life-long endeavour to un-twist what had been and is still being twisted in interpreting and putting The General Theory to use. For the sake of simplicity, I have listed a few of the distortions to which Chick, together with others, has drawn attention over the years. The list is not meant to be exhaustive and some of the distortions are interrelated, but I hope that my catalogue captures most of the issues which have been at the centre of the debate and indeed of Chick's life-long engagement with The General Theory.
