Regulation of prices for call termination to network telephone operator: antitrust or tariff regulation?

Abstract:
In this article the problem of regulation of tariffs for call termination on the networks of mobile operators. This seemed to be a very private matter serves as a good illustration of the two major problems of the modern anti-monopoly regulation. Firstly, it is a problem of using the ratio of sector specific regulation and common approaches Antitrust. Secondly, it is a problem of application of antitrust laws on so-called related markets. Suffice studied in detail the question of the regulation of tariffs for call termination on the network of a telephone operator, including the evolution of approaches to regulation in this area, the causes of failure of its control of the antimonopoly legislation in many countries and the problems existing in this sphere in Russia.
