Alternative Financing for Entrepreneurial Ventures

Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, 1989, vol. 13, issue 3, 7-9
Abstract:
Here are some provocative thoughts on entrepreneurship by two individuals who are experienced both as practitioners and as observers of entrepreneurial activities. Their observations seem particularly appropriate in a journal whose title includes the words “theory†and “practice.†Jack Thorne shares some observations on financing ventures he has gleaned both as an entrepreneur and as the Chairman of the Enterprise Corporation of Pittsburgh. Daryl Mitton who shares a similar background discusses the individual entrepreneur.
