Abstract:

Nowadays the problems of regional development in Ukraine are becoming deeper each time caused by the increasing threats of national safety of the state. On one hand the speech goes about the threats of territorial integrity of the state, and on the other hand the author means the calls of economic security caused by the deceleration of rates of European economic integration of Ukraine. Taking into account the present spatial progress of regions of countries of European Union trends, the regional poles of activation of eurointegration processes must be formed in Ukraine also. The special role in this context is played by the region of Carpathians, that directly abuts upon the row of countries of European Union and has the protracted history of close sociocultural and economic connections with western partners. During last years eurointegration processes in Ukraine have been activated substantially, that undoubtedly allowed to do more real estimation and carry out the short-term prognoses of the economic development of the region of Carpathians in the conditions of eurointegration. The article is devoted to the analysis of pre-conditions and factors of development of economy of the region of Carpathians. The retrospective tendencies and modern development of economy of the region of Carpathians status are described on the background development of eurointegration processes. The article carries out the estimation of external economic connections as important pre-conditions of eurointegration. The analysis of external economic connections of areas of the region of Carpathians certifies the forming of solid eurointegration vector.

На сучасному етапі проблеми регіонального розвитку в Україні щоразу більше актуалізуються у зв’язку зі зростанням різносторонніх загроз національній безпеці держави. З одного боку, йдеться про загрози територіальній цілісності держави, а з іншого – про виклики економічній безпеці, що зумовлені сповільненням темпів європейської економічної інтеграції України. Враховуючи наявні тенденції просторового розвитку регіонів країн Євросоюзу, в Україні також мають бути сформовані регіональні полюси активізації євроінтеграційних процесів. Особливу роль у цьому контексті відіграє Карпатський регіон, що безпосередньо межує з низкою країн Європейського Союзу та має тривалу історію тісних соціально-культурних й економічних зв’язків із західними партнерами. В останні роки євроінтеграційні процеси в Україні суттєво активізувалися, що, безумовно, дозволяє робити більш реальну оцінку та здійснювати короткострокові прогнози економічного розвитку Карпатського регіону в умовах євроінтеграції. Стаття присвячена аналізу передумов та факторів розвитку економіки Карпатського регіону. Охарактеризовано ретроспективні тенденції та сучасний стан розвитку економіки Карпатського регіону на тлі розгортання євроінтеграційних процесів. Здійснено оцінку зовнішньоекономічних зв’язків як важливих передумов євроінтеграції. Аналіз зовнішньоекономічних зв’язків областей Карпатського регіону засвідчує формування стійкого євроінтеграційного вектора.
