Abstract: В статті обґрунтована необхідність підвищення конкурентоспроможності залізничного транспорту. Одним з пріоритетних напрямів виділена інноваційна діяльність, яка сприятиме розвитку науково-технічного потенціалу, підвищенню якості і конкурентоспроможності продукції і як наслідок зміцненню позицій залізниці на транспортному ринку.The article proves the necessity to increase the competitiveness of rail transport. One of the priority areas highlighted in the innovative activity, which will contribute to the development of scientific and technical capacity, improve quality and competitiveness of products and, as a result, strengthening of positions of the Railways in the transport market.
