Abstract:
The ongoing process of computerization creates more and more opportunities to improve our lives. One of the emerging new concepts in this area is the Internet of Things. A very fast development of intelligent devices intended for use in households, adapted to work with a computer, combined with the increasing availability of the Internet, allows creating smart environments to improve the functioning of households. The aim of the article is to present the concept of the Internet of Things and the possibilities of its use in relation to various areas of household functioning.
