Abstract: The present article analyses the evolution between 2000 and 2017 of the insurance segment of markets classified by FTSE Russell as Advanced Emerging. The considerations were carried out in two categories: the ratio of premium to GDP and the ratio of premium capitalization to the value of bank deposits.
