Abstract: Technological development implies a constant increase in energy demand, which creates a need for an effective tool for control of its production, distribution and consumption. There are a variety of solutions that have come up recently in the technological and system approach to this cause. Having said this, optimized energy management which promotes eco-friendly behaviors in different scales seems to be essential. Energy management is a subject widely taken up by literature authors, yet it has not been summarized and its consistent nomenclature has not been created. Existing works only consist of specified solutions of the described subject. The author attempts to create a classification of division of energy management in its many dimensions on the basis of a related literature review. Moreover, this article refers many perspectives of energy to main management functions.
