Chapter Chapter 15 in Reforming State-Owned Enterprises in Asia, 2021, pp 297-321 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This study examines a number of factors that are essential in doing business across selected emerging countries in Asia. The analysis compares the order ranking of obstacles between state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and privately held enterprises. In this study, we define a state-owned enterprise as a business enterprise where the state has, directly or indirectly, significant control through majority ownership (at least 50.01%).
