Abstract:
Abstract In November 1997, the Swedish Institute for Transport and Communications Analysis (SIKA) issued one call for proposals concerning a new assignment program and one call for proposals concerning new demand models and a user friendly model system. The calls were issued on behalf of a joint group of government agencies. Apart from SIKA the group consists of the Swedish National Road Administration, the Swedish National Rail Administration, the Swedish Transport and Communications Research Board, the Swedish Board of Civil Aviation and the Swedish National Administration of Shipping and Navigation. The group is called ”the buyer” in this paper.
