Abstract: Abstract The Introduction presents the relevance of investigating governance and sustainability for the family business, highlighting the growing emphasis on corporate social responsibility and sustainable corporate governance by several stakeholders, and the inherent inclination of family businesses toward nonfinancial objectives. It also provides an overview of the structure of the book and the main contents of the book’s chapters.
