Chapter Chapter 8 in Making Better Decisions, 2020, pp 63-74 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract According to a Chinese proverb, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. This is also very true, when describing and comparing multiple criteria decision alternatives, in particular, when there are many criteria and many alternatives. It is much easier for the decision-maker to have a holistic view of the situation, if instead of (or in addition to) numeric information, suitable visualization techniques are used.
