Abstract: Abstract This chapter explores the critical role of data management and supply chain analytics in enhancing environmental sustainability during the digital transformation of supply chains. It introduces a framework for leveraging sustainability-related data to address environmental challenges while detailing the barriers and drivers influencing its adoption. Through qualitative interviews with thirteen firms and a case study on logistics emissions, the research highlights the importance of data quality, integration, and utilization in achieving supply chain transparency and sustainability. The findings emphasize how advanced analytics processes can inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Practical implications for integrating sustainability into supply chain strategies are discussed, alongside recommendations for overcoming data-related challenges. The chapter discusses the necessity of robust data management practices and analytics capabilities for organizations striving to align with emerging environmental objectives and regulatory demands.
