Abstract This chapter describes how KAESER KOMPRESSOREN, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and providers of compressed air products and services, uses digital twins. The chapter elaborates how digital twins are built and used throughout the life cycle of a compressed air station. Thereby, the author helps us understand the technological principles underpinning new service business models, such as pay-per-use.
