Chapter 9 in Measuring Productivity in Education and Not-for-Profits, 2021, pp 133-143 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explains one method for testing hypotheses using productivity change data. It explores the effectiveness of a hypothetical policy intervention designed with the intention to increase productivity. The tutorial uses results produced in Chap. 4 . It fits productivity data to several models to explore significant differences between trends before and after the intervention takes place. The chapter concludes by acknowledging the limitations of the method employed and offers alternative treatments of the data.
