Chapter 5 in Supply Chain Risk Management, 2022, pp 91-104 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Business operations are the processes that transform inputs (e.g., raw materials and labor) into output (goods or services), therefore a core component of the supply chain. Operation management aims at the efficient use of resources, in order to best meet the market demand. For a successful supply chain risk management, it is essential to address the cultural elements of operation management in a multicultural environment.
