Strength-Based Deployment

Abstract:
Abstract From a deployment perspective, there can only be one way to respond to an aging workforce: strength-based deployment and support for the employee throughout their entire tenure with the organization. Employees’ strengths are not a question of age but rather of their individual attributes, skills, and interests. These must be aligned with the requirements of the role. This alignment process has to be continuous, as both the tasks within the organization and the competencies and interests of the employees are constantly changing. The aim is to design work content and working conditions in such a way that employees can work without physical or mental impairments for the entire duration of their working lives and remain motivated and committed to the company’s goals.
