Chapter Chapter 11 in General Management Principles for Project Management, 2025, pp 105-115 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) helps define clear roles and responsibilities, but technical clarity must be matched by emotional intelligence. Successful project teams depend on understanding human behavior and group dynamics: people are driven by the need to belong and the need to stand out. Effective project managers balance these needs by creating environments where individuals feel safe, valued, and accountable.
