Chapter 8 in Patent Management, 2026, pp 257-279 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Patent management must adapt to specific conditions, such as "VUCA" circumstances involving volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Theory and practice examine the culture of invention as a catalyst for successful innovation; the need for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to protect and exploit their intellectual property; the challenges start-ups face in dealing with intellectual property rights (IP); and measures against product piracy.
