Chapter 6 in Growth Through Innovation, 2014, pp 71-84 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Most of today’s market leaders entered the market 10–15 years after the pioneer. This is contradictory to schoolbook presentations where the advantages of pioneers are overstressed. Most market leaders go for big markets, make innovations in small steps and build up barriers through brands, patents, copyrights and business architecture.
