Chapter 3 in Product Information Management, 2014, pp 25-42 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The biggest chunk of work when introducing a PIM system is not the integration and customization of the PIM system. Most of the time is spent on filling the PIM with useful data. However, before a PIM can be filled, you need to determine which information needs to be stored and how. This is defined in a Product Data Model.
