Abstract:
Abstract In today’s hypercompetitive business environment, employee inputs, innovation and initiatives intended to improve organizational functioning and therefore, are critical to the organization performance and competitiveness. This must be the reason the lately the term ‘Voice of the employee’ is heard often. When we look in depth at the term we discover that the critical ingredient in establishing the employee’s ability to be heard is the manager’s ability to create a safe enough environment for the employee. This chapter focuses on the term ‘Voice of the employee’; recognizing the most significant component in establishing the employee’s ability to be heard. Voice of the employee offer’s the organization diagnostics tools to be used on an annually and allows identification of trends and the constant improvement of organizational culture.
