Chapter 3 in Management by Permission, 2016, pp 25-62 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract For many people, “control” is a bad word, with connotations of authority for its own sake, Big Brother, the imposition of inappropriate targets and measures, micromanagement and bureaucracy. But an organization not under proper control is one out of control. And out of control organizations tend to fail, putting everyone’s futures at risk.
