Chapter 5 in Achieving Organizational Excellence, 2018, pp 87-101 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The business excellence framework aims at achieving operational and strategic sustainable business outcomes. Ultimately, the goal is to know how well an organization is doing in terms of their customer, people and societal and business results. These results become crucial for organizations to benchmark its performance against others and revise the business strategy accordingly. Performance measurement is another important component of organizational excellence. So, how should an organization assess its various achievements? This chapter helps to understand ways by which quality managers can learn about various type of organizational outcomes and how to assess and monitor these outcomes when dealing with achieving organizational excellence.
